Snap-on are pleased to introduce the Sun VIC 3000 ATL, a VOSA approved automated test lane system for fast, efficient and productive one person operated MOT testing of Class IV and Class VII vehicles.
At the heart of the VIC 3000 ATL, is the DGA 2500 Combi, with a large 19” monitor to provide the test technician with clear easily visible information, plus a mono laser printer for hard copy reports of all test data and results. Individual customer vehicle details, data and test results can be stored for recall at any time, making the Sun ATL an invaluable tool to help with your business development.
Using windows based, icon driven and easy to use software, the VIC 3000 ATL requires the minimum of training for the test technician to become productive performing either voluntary or mandatory testing of your customers vehicles. Test procedures either mandatory or voluntary can be performed in a fully automatic mode or manually when the IR remote control is used.
Capable of testing cars and light commercials, the VIC 3000 ATL is available in either Class IV or Class VII configurations; both systems have a fully galvanised steel chassis for maximum protection against corrosion, and have been designed for installation into a dedicated recess. Plastic coated rollers provide better grip in wet tyre conditions ensuring accurate brake testing and diagnosis, and helps prevent unnecessary tyre damage usually associated with all metal roller models. Optional suspension and sideslip analysis capabilities are also available making the VIC 3000 ATL the most comprehensive automated test lane available.
