16. July 2008: Snap-on Tools, brand leader in tools, tool storage and diagnostic equipment for the automotive market, has announced the introduction of the latest addition to its cordless power tools range – the innovative new CTU4410 3/8’ sq drive impact wrench.
This small, lightweight ‘gun’ delivers 230 lbs ft. of bolt ‘breakaway’ torque making it perfect for scenarios where compressed air may not be appropriate and will be a particular boon to customers who attend breakdowns and emergencies. The CTU4410 features a patented heavy-duty impact mechanism, heat-treated alloy gears and an ergonomic over-moulded cushion grip. Power is delivered via a 14.4 volt battery pack.
The CTU4410 is packaged in a blow-moulded case, comes complete with a spare battery pack and customers purchasing the product during Snap-on’s August promotion will be offered a £60 trade-in on any brand of 3/8’ impact wrench. They will also receive a free die-cast moneybox in the shape of a Snap-on tool storage unit.
