ETHOS is a compact, fast, accurate and versatile tool for solving today’s diagnostic problems, designed for either the first time user or to complement existing competitive products and is built to the same exacting standards as all Snap-on products.
ETHOS has the same, familiar and easy to use controls as the two other members of the Snap-on ‘family’ of diagnostic tools – SOLUS and MODIS. It has a large easy to read display. ETHOS has an onboard memory that allows the technician to store and retrieve details of the last 20 vehicles connected to, saving even more time when reconnecting to the vehicle to verify and confirm the repair. In addition, the CF (Compact Flash) medium can be used for data storage, now standard across the Snap-on ‘family’.
ETHOS will allow everyone, from the smaller garage to the franchise workshop, to expand into electronic diagnosis, while ensuring that the tool software is always at the optimum revision level, thus increasing productivity and profit. Like all members of the Snap-on ‘family’ of diagnostic tools ETHOS can easily be updated via ScanBay, Snap-on’s pioneering system that allows software downloads to be performed in a matter of minutes from any Snap-on Dealer van.
