| 18 February 2008 : Snap-on Tools, brand leader in tools, tool storage and diagnostic equipment for the automotive market, has announced the appointment of Terry Barcham to the newly created role of Managing Director, Snap-on Tools Europe.
In his new role Terry Barcham will be responsible for the overall expansion of the Snap-on Tools brand throughout continental Europe, with the heads of Snap-on Tools’ European national operations reporting directly to him. Terry, who joined Snap-on Tools in 1973, continues as Managing Director of Snap-on Tools in the UK and Ireland, a post he has held since 1990.
To allow Terry more time to develop his new European role Aldo Rodi, previously Marketing & Sales Manager for Snap-on Tools in the UK, has been promoted to UK National Sales Manager. In this new role all Snap-on Tools UK Branch Managers will report directly to him.

Editor’s Note: Aldo Rodi has recently graduated with an Executive MBA from the University of Liverpool. Executive MBA (EMBA) programmes were developed to meet the educational needs of managers and executives, allowing them to earn an MBA or another business-related graduate degree in two to three years while still working full time. Aldo is the third person in Snap-on’s UK operation to achieve an MBA, two more having already embarked on theirs.
